New Zealand born, Hastings, Hawkes Bay to be precise. A father to three amazing adult children, whom I’m super proud of. My current place of residence is the fabulous, inspirational Marlborough Sounds.
My artwork is what I would call ‘evolving abstract’. I have only ever used oils and currently work on board as I found that my technique was too rough for canvas. I love the challenge of working with oil paint. It is unforgiving yet rewarding. More often than not the paintings have a habit of changing on me so I never quite know what I’m going to get. Each one is truly unique; I doubt very much I could repeat the same painting twice and to be honest that suits me just fine.
