We are specialists in waterproofing membrane systems examination to ensure they are in fact water tight.
Sometimes a lapse of attention when installing, but mostly caused by others damaging the membrane at installation, causes a breach in the waterproofing surface. Also over time the surface can be damaged resulting in water leaks inside the building. So how do you test a retaining wall built up against a hillside to ensure it is water tight before backfilling? You cannot exactly flood test it.
Flood testing is the old way of finding breaches in membranes. Not only is it time consuming, it wastes a lot of water and is unsustainable.
That is where we come in.
We test waterproofing membrane systems to ensure they are watertight from day one, month 60 or to provide that independent assurance there is no breach when purchasing a new property.
If a breach occurs, we can pinpoint exactly where it is coming from quickly so repairs can be conducted in the right place – not by process of elimination. This is something you cannot do with a metal roof.
Testing your waterproofing membrane system is ‘cheap insurance’ in comparison to the cost of replacing rotten building materials caused by a water leak.
