Mary Potter Hospice has been providing free specialist palliative care to the communities of Wellington, Porirua, and Kāpiti for over 40 years. The holistic approach of the hospice addresses not only physical needs but also emotional, spiritual, and social well-being, ensuring patients and their families receive comprehensive support. Care is delivered in various settings, including patients’ homes, at aged care facilities and at the Inpatient Unit located in Newtown, Wellington. The Hospice also operates eight shops across the region, with proceeds directly supporting their services. Committed to equity and compassion, Mary Potter Hospice continues to be a pillar of support in its community. The need to continue to raise awareness and financial support of the Hospice is greater now more than ever. The stand at the Better Home and Living Show will promote the upcoming Street Appeal.
