Welcome to Prima Build – your local renovation team in beautiful Wānaka.
We’re Darren and Livia Warren, a husband-and-wife team who traded the dream of mountain living for the real thing and brought our business with us. Wānaka is home, and it shows in the care we put into every renovation we do here as well as our involvement within the local community.

With nearly 40 years of combined experience, we cover both sides of a great renovation. Darren is a licensed builder with 20+ years of hands-on expertise, known for meticulous workmanship and projects delivered on time and on budget. Livia brings 19 years in interior design and the bathroom industry, and is one of the few renovation designers in the region offering full 3D walkthroughs, so you see how your finished space will look before a single tile is laid. No guesswork, no surprises.
You’ll deal directly with us from start to finish. No middlemen, no miscommunication.
