A visionary beginning
From our humble beginnings in 1980s Te Awamutu, we have grown to become a highly regarded, distinctly Māori tertiary education provider.
Our history tells of passionate locals who saw a need and created a solution. They forged a pathway for learning and development in the face of many challenges, to preserve and grow te reo and tikanga Māori. We continue this legacy today, for all people of Aotearoa.

It’s all go at McLean Park as we get ready to welcome thousands of show visitors through the doors from this Friday from 10am.
Fun fact: the Hawke`s Bay Home and Garden Show is the OG of Home and Garden Shows and has been a fixture on the Hawke’s Bay calendar for more than 35 years!
This year’s Show is set to be one of the biggest yet, and we can’t wait for you to see it.
